I met Corinna Falusi, creative director, at Ace Hotel on August 6, 2010. She suggested meeting for coffee, but I found out that she doesn’t like it. I asked her what her romance was. She said, “I have lots of romance. It’s a secret I have in my mind. There is a difference between romance and love. Romance is more abstract, very nice, and very painful. When Goethe, German author, was 70 years old, he fell in love with a 17-year-old girl. It never worked out, but that’s romance. Romance is the best thing in the world. You should have tons of it, otherwise you can just die right away.” I got her a cup of green tea for this meeting. At the end of meeting, she said, “I will buy you a beer next time and let’s talk about hate.”
