I met Yu Yamaguchi, gallery owner, bassist, magazine director, on January 3, 2011 at Mountain Fold Gallery.  I asked her what her romance was.

She said, “my romance is something to do with unknown future, possibilities that something unknown in the future.  I never imagined I would live in New York and now live here for 10 years.  Never expected to have my own gallery.  Never thought of getting married.  Never thought of publishing a magazine.  Never thought of being in a music band.  Unknown is my romance.”

I asked her if she liked or believed horoscope, palm reading, or fortune teller.  She said, “it’s always fun to think of my future, but I don’t want to be told by someone what’s going to happen.”
